Published final draft CRISP CWA
»Guidelines for the evaluation of installed security systems, based on S-T-E-Fi criteria«
The Information Commissioner is taking part in the European project CRISP (Evaluation and Certification Schemes for Security Products). The FP7-funded project CRISP (agreement No. 607941) aims to develop a novel evaluation and certification methodology for security systems that integrates technical, social and legal dimensions (Security, Trust, Efficiency and Freedom Infringement) as assessment criteria. Further information on the project can be found here: http://crispproject.eu.
One of the main project goals was preparation of the so-called CEN Workshop Agreement (CWA) - a best practices document for further standardisation efforts and input for the development of a future certification scheme. The European Standardisation Authority CEN just published the final draft CRISP CWA – “Guidelines for the evaluation of installed security systems, based on S-T-E-Fi criteria”.
