PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION ACT OF THE REPUBLIC OF SLOVENIA
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) sets out uniform rules for the protection of personal data in the EU, but some substantive and procedural issues may be specifically regulated by Member States. In Slovenia, these areas are regulated by the new Personal Data Protection Act (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia No. 163/22; ZVOP-2), which applies from 26 January 2023.
English translation of ZVOP-2 is not yet available.
